What will you do?
As a Merchandiser, you are the key link between inventory management, sales, and planning. You will be responsible for optimizing our stock levels, making sure we never have to say "no" to our customers, and responding smartly to trends and seasonal peaks.
Your key responsibilities:
- Develop bi-annual budgets and advise on the breadth and depth of our assortment.
- Analyze sales data and market trends, and translate insights into a solid inventory strategy.
- Manage target stock levels, repeat orders, and seasonal products.
- Work with WSSI and closely monitor product performance, size ratios, and sales trends.
- Identify risks (such as slow sellers) and propose solutions—from redistribution to markdown strategies.
- Support the buying team with a clear merchandising plan and strategy.
- Provide weekly performance reports for the sales and e-commerce teams.
Who are you?
You are analytical, commercial, and a true team player. You think ahead, thrive in a dynamic environment, and are driven by improving processes and achieving results.
You bring:
- Higher vocational education (HBO) level of thinking and working.
- At least 3 years of experience as a merchandiser in the fashion or retail industry.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel (WSSI, pivot tables, analyses? No problem!).
- Experience with forecasting and replenishment systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent numerical skills, and a solution-focused mindset.
- Result-oriented, flexible, and hands-on attitude.
