Poelman is one of the biggest players in the international private label market. We specialize in designing, producing, and distributing shoe collections for international shoe chains. Additionally, we manufacture for our own brands PS Poelman, POSH by Poelman, and HABOOB.
As a procurement intern, you become part of the procurement team. You learn everything about shoes and the supply chain. Together with the team, you will work on all orders. You participate from customer selection to the entire production process until delivery to the customers. In doing so, you will have contact with colleagues in other teams, factories, and customers.
What will you do?
- Coordinating, processing, and sending of samples.
- Maintaining contact with factories and customers.
- Processing and sending orders.
- Ensuring that the orders are produced according to the packing instructions of customers.
- Collaborating with the e-commerce, marketing, and photography departments for PS Poelman, POSH, and HABOOB articles.
Who are you?
- You are pursuing a relevant HBO education such as, for example, Commercial Economics, AMFI, TMO, or Saxion. Other study directions are no problem, as long as you can convince us why you are motivated for this internship at Poelman.
- You are a driven and social team player.
- You are proactive, think solution-oriented, and have a hands-on mentality.
- You have a good command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written.
- You are available for a minimum of 5 months starting from September.
